All the fused glass bowls are individually made at the studios of RDW Glass, Glasgow, Scotland. Each colour of glass is cut to shape and then fused in the kiln at approximately 800c. The glass is then shaped using ceramic moulds. Moulds can be made to any size or shape for the glass to slump over or into. Larger moulds are made by St. Andrews Pottery.
Glass bowls are available in Form, The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Architecture, Design and the City. Spanning six floors, The Lighthouse provides an unrivalled opportunity to experience Architecture and Design through a changing programme of exhibitions, education and life long learning, networking, events and initiatives. The Lighthouse also contains the award winning Mackintosh Centre and Mackintosh Tower with stunning city views, Vitra Conference Suite and the doocot a stylish rooftop café/bar.
